England Women cruised to an eight-wicket victory over Sri Lanka Women in the opening one-day international of their four-match series in Colombo. The hosts were restricted to 168-7 in their 50 overs at the Sinhalese Sports Club after England skipper Heather Knight won the toss and the tourists then eased past their target with over 20 overs to spare. England took a one-match lead in their four-match ODI series against Sri Lanka by sealing an eight-wicket victory in Colombo on Wednesday.
